  • Lead, coordinate, plan, manage and support agency approved projects with high visibility and customer impact.
  • Create and detail project plans, Microsoft Project schedules, identify risks, and meet with key stakeholders at a minimum weekly to ensure project deliverables are met;
  • Support the SDLC, and programmatic documentation required by agency.
  • Collaborate with network operations and application development teams.
  • Assist with project management activities, planning and end user communications.
  • Look for areas to create new and update existing policies and procedures to ensure consistent work quality.
  • Maintain excellent communication, collaboration and working relationships with all Tier teams to ensure all teams are aware of current efforts.
  • Attend daily/ weekly project status meetings and attend the weekly change control board meetings, technical review board meetings, and other project and operational issue meetings.
  • Document detailed, concise and clear meeting agendas, meeting outcomes and action items.
  • Develop and maintain an actions and issues log – requires daily updates.
  • Have a weekly and monthly meeting to brief the COR on project status as well as attend meetings at Headquarters in Washington DC
  • Work with the System Owner, senior management, COR, and necessary parties to adhere to the required documentation support. Documentation to include but not limited to: SDLC and stage gates, IRB, ATO related documents.
  • Support agency projects including department share data migrations, on-prem server migrations to Azure, network expansion, new implementations, etc.
  • Collaborate with vendor professional services and product vendors.
  • Responsible for disseminating information throughout agency management and agency technical teams in a timely manner

Required Technical Skills:

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Master’s degree in relevant field
  • 14+ years of relevant experience
    • Evidence of creating, baselining and managing to Microsoft Project schedules, action, and risk registers
    • Ability to take complex, integrated and inter-dependent projects to develop a schedule and manage daily/weekly engineers and technical resources.
    • Leading technical design and technical working sessions to progress high visibility projects.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in following areas:
    • Managing large IT projects with multi-vendors and across teams
    • Developing detailed project schedules, identifying/mitigating risks,
  • PMP certification preferred

Salary Range: $150,000 – $175,000

**Salary is commensurate with education and experience**
